Degas is a star!

This morning, Degas allowed me to sit for 15 minutes on this non-waterproof ink & watercolour sketch on our village's beach. My first urban(ish) sketch with my young dog.

A couple of sketches

Yesterday I went to the pool, which is not my favourite way to spend a day, but we are a bit limited here in Khartoum. To pass some time I drew some of the people in and around the pool. The guy on the lounge has a friend with the most amazing tattoo, but as he was looking my way I couldn't draw it. Maybe next week?
